Painting of the Gold Hill School by Jeannie DeMarinis, former Jamestown School Teacher
The Gold Hill School is a close-knit community made up of parents from across Boulder and the surrounding mountain areas. Families travel from near and far to access this unique educational experience, but they also join our community to connect with others and become part of something special. We like to say the walls of our school are porous—the lines between school, home, and community often blur. Parents are active participants, regularly volunteering in classrooms, joining field trips, and attending events both during and outside of school hours. Whether at school, within the community, or in our homes, we learn, play, and camp together. School is an extension of family, and everyone is welcome.
